Frost Advisories Expand East

The National Weather Service in Taunton has expanded the *Frost Advisory* into parts of Worcester, Middlesex, Norfolk, Plymouth, and Bristol counties.

The skies will clear, the winds will calm, and temperatures will plummet into the mid 30's tonight.
It will be even colder in Franklin, Northern Worcester, and Northwest Middlesex counties.  The reason there is no advisory in these locations is because the growing season has not yet begun.

...FROST ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 8 AM EDT
THURSDAY...

The National Weather Service in Taunton has issued a Frost
Advisory, which is in effect from midnight tonight to 8 AM EDT
Thursday.

* Location...Hampden and Eastern Hampshire Counties in
  Massachusetts, Hartford and Tolland Counties in Connecticut.

* Temperatures...in the mid 30s.

* Timing...coldest temperatures will be observed between 3 AM to
  6 AM.

* Impacts...Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Frost Advisory means that widespread frost is expected.
Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
