Tuesday AM Rain Update

Breaking- it's raining.
NWS Northeast Regional Weather Loop
The heaviest rain will move through Rhode Island and Central/Eastern MA between 6-9 AM.  For those commuting to the cities today give yourself plenty of time.  The rain will then break into a more scattered shower mode.  Temperatures south of the Pike are in the low 40's while north of the Pike it's in the upper 30's.  The slick spots by the NH border I talked about are no longer a concern.

After 10 AM the rain shield will be less organized so the rain will go through various intensities.   At times light, other times heavy.  A break is possible early this afternoon before a final round of rain moves through after 8 PM.
WPC Surface Fronts/Precipitation Tuesday 8 PM
Our next weather maker is already in the pipeline and is set to deliver severe weather to many people in the Eastern US.  More on that storm later today.  We will dry out tomorrow even if the start of the day is gray.  Temperatures will be in the low 50's tomorrow as we get a brief break between weather makers.
